June Blog Hop: Kiwi Lane

**Blog is fixed and updated! So sorry for the technical difficulties!**

Good Morning! I am so happy to be one of the stops along the Kiwi Lane Blog Hop today! You should have arrived here from Ashley Newell's blog.  If you get lost along the way, just click >>HERE<< to get you back on the right track!
Also, I hope you've left a comment on each blog along the way, because a random winner from ONE of the participating blogs (including the Kiwi Lane blog), will be given a $25 gift certificate to the Kiwi Lane Shop...just for leaving a comment! Do it! Do it! :)
AND, just for some added fun today, if you leave me a comment and become a follower of my blog, I am giving away one pack of awesome Kiwi Lane Templates! Just let me know that you have done both and I will add your name into the mix! And, if you want to tell my something I should add to my summer bucket list for my kids and I and your name is chosen, I may just throw in a little something extra! Just sayin'!
Okay, now, let's get down to business! I am lucky to be the proud owner of several designer templates from Kiwi Lane. There are SO many scrapbook ideas that I think of when I get my templates out and this layout was no different!

As you may or may not know, it was L-O-V-E at first sight when I first laid eyes on the Scallops Templates from Kiwi Lane. I'd been searching for a punch or cutting system that would give me a clean scallop in various sizes...and failing miserably! When I got the Scallops Templates from Kiwi Lane, I knew that they would get a workout!

I used the largest scallop (Scallops 3B) on the left side of the page above. I like the large size of this one, especially for a page that has more of a "boy" feel. It isn't a dainty scallop, which I like! I also used Tags 1 on this page. "Where is the tag?" you may be asking. I love using that particular tag to make a quick and easy chevron shape as demonstrated >>HERE<<. (For a full list of templates used, see the end of this post!)

On this page, I used  the Accents Templates to create a couple of space-age looking shapes to add to the outer space look I was going for. Also, I needed a perfect circle, just the right size, so my Rings 1 template came in handy for that as well!

Seriously, scrapping doesn't get any easier than this! I am hoping to be scrapping more of my Disney photos soon along with some photos of my sweet new niece. I'd be honored if you stopped by again sometime to see what is up on my blog! Thanks for hopping along today! Don't forget, leaving comments on each blog enters you in the drawing for a $25 gift certificate to the Kiwi Lane Shop and don't forget about my giveaway too! Hop on back to Kiwi Lane and leave a comment if you haven't already! Until next time...

Scrap Happy~Melissa

  33. I love your great boyish template! I have left a comment and followed your blog. For your summer bucket list I recommend shaving cream painting, get scent free shaving cream and spray it over your table or a plastic tablecloth outside. - then add in drops of either paint or sprinkle on dry tempura paint and paint away! your table will be super clean when you clean it up and the kids can hop in the bath after.
